So we get a teaser promo video. To be fair, we do get to see much of what is on offer in the Giulietta, admittedly in quick-cut shots with precious little of the Giulietta as a whole on view. But you do at least get a decent taste of what the Giulietta is about
The Giulietta will get a choice of four turbocharged engines at launch – a couple of 1.4 litre petrols (including a MultiAir) with 120bhp and 170bhp, and a couple of diesels, a 1.6 litre with 105bhp and a 2.0 litre with 170bhp. Also in the mix – although not at launch – will be the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Cloverleaf (Quadrifoglio Verde) with a more than respectable 230bhp.
If the Giulietta carries on where the Alfa Romeo MiTo left off we’re going to see a car from Alfa that will take the fight to the best cars in its sector.
