New 2009 Maserati GranTurismo S MC Sport Line

MC Sport Line has primarily focused on Maserati’s racing heritage fresh from the market with its latest accomplishments in the FIA GT championship with the Bertolini-Bartels duo in Argentina, the land of Juan Manuel Fangio.

Maserati has introduced its new line special series of new options named “MC Sport Line”, which has made its worldwide at the Bologna Motor Show, with a new content that has been added to Maserati’s already extensive line of personalization options for its buyers.

In order to surpass its previous Maserati line-ups, this Maserati can reach 0-60 mph in less than 4.8 seconds and achieving top speeds of 177 mph. Maserati has always lived up to its name and has achieved and surpassed many other companies and should be a force in the car industry

Novitec German Turner has come up with an upgrade package for the Maserati Quattroporte luxury sedan, both the S and Sport GT S versions.Novitec has made with the installation of more and more powerful engine with a supercharge and with a new water-to-air intercooler for Quattroporte's 4.7-liter V8.

Other modifications include a new intake manifold and fuel injectors are bigger, while the ECU recalibrated electronic care. In both the S and the Quattroporte Sport GT S, this change will raise output of 590HP at 7300 rpm, while torque grows from 490Nm to 572Nm / 421.9 lb-ft.

Novitec Tridente Maserati Quattroporte can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h (62mph) in 4.6 seconds, an improvement of 0.5 seconds during the Sport GT S and 0.8 seconds for the model S. Novitec Quattroporte's 590HP can run to 200km / h (124mph) in just 14.9 seconds, while a new top speed the car is 295km / h (183mph).

Novetic also complement the Maserati Quattroporte with new sports suspension, which is controlled electronically and the settings for some features compression and rebound. A boot lid spoiler secretly made of carbon fiber coated with clear-finished packages, although customers can also choose from a variety of options for the interior includes a special leather or Alcantara trim, and multimedia systems.

Maserati GranTurismo S, 2008

A year after the unveiling of the GranTurismo, Maserati will be back at the Geneva International Motorshow with yet another world premiere, the Maserati GranTurismo S. The ultimate expression of the Trident coupé's sportiness shifts the emphasis onto performance and driving enjoyment.

The Two main novelties are at the heart of the new Maserati: the 440 hp V8 4.7 engine and the electro-actuated gearbox with fast MC-Shift arranged in the transaxle layout typical of high-performance sports cars that represents the technological DNA of all Maseratis.

The Maserati GranTurismo S makes use of the high-performance brake system developed in collaboration with Brembo and introduced for the first time in the automotive field on the Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S. The system features front brake discs made with dual-cast technology - a dual casting of cast iron and aluminium, paired with aluminium mono-bloc 6-piston brake callipers, ensuring optimised braking performance.

On the exterior the Maserati GranTurismo S is characterised by a number of aesthetic modifications that, although discrete, are highly effective and make the car body appear sportier without abandoning the sleekness of the lines masterfully designed by Pininfarina.

The interior upholstered in Poltrona Frau leather and Alcantara reflects the sporty flair of the Maserati GranTurismo S; the figure-hugging front and rear seats are distinguished by their new dynamic design with horizontal piping on the seats and seatbacks.
