North American International Auto Show in Detroit attracted journalists and leaders from around the world. Hence, journalists ask questions and gain insight into what was his debut.
Ford is mainly there to talk to existing products, and a brief media about his future plans.
Automobile Magazine is part Q & A with Derrick Kuzak, head of global product development and Chief Technology Officer and Executive Director Paul Mascarenas Alan Mulally.
During negotiations, the question was about a new supercar, fungi from the mid-engine Ford GT. Ford GT was produced between 2005 and 2006 as a retro-style sequel to the original Ford GT40 supercar of 1960.
As expected, there was no confirmation of a new model. The idea of a certificate of high-profile new supercar from the mainstream manufacturers such as Ford was a longshot.
What was, was denied. Instead, Kuzak said after the pause: "Well, I think there are certain things we do not want Mark to speak in terms of four years of planning product, whether it's OK."
Sounds like good advice for us - and certainly leaves the door open. Ford to its targets for profitability and a significant traction in the market, would introduce new halo supercar something in the cards for the future.
Most likely, we believe that the potential model will be associated with GT. There are many features - such as hybrid models like the Porsche 918 Spyder. Regardless, we can only hope that something in the works.
