MAN Nutzfahrzeuge has announced that it will premiere the MAN Concept S - Futuristic Truck Concepts  at the 2010 IAA show in Hanover. MAN Concept S design is Trucks Aerodynamics with future of road-based cargo transport concept.

MAN says that "with the truck study Concept S, [it] is starting the discussion about efficient transportation of goods and the importance of aerodynamics in truck design." That's right, people are finally "starting" to think about the importance of aerodynamics and wind resistance in big-rig design. It's good to see MAN's getting on the ball, but what took so long?

The manufacturers hope that the streamlining of the Concept S MAN tractor ways to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions is to demonstrate through intelligent design.

MAN Concept S was designed to be minimized wind resistance. The company says that with a proper trailer, the Concept S MAN is the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by 25% compared with a 40-ton tractor.

MAN S Concept is also developed for the company to play its role in the current debate on the duration of the legal restrictions on commercial vehicles in Europe
