When he wasn't busy testing Ferrari's new F10 Formula 1 car for the 2010 season, Scuderia Ferrari driver Felipe Massa got some track time in the automaker's 599XX Corsa Clienti racer at the Valencia, Spain race circuit.
"I really enjoyed testing this car," Massa said in a statement. "I think it is extremely powerful and has exceptional stability. Considering that it has been planned for the track, it's really easy to drive."

Massa, who was in Valencia to test Ferrari's latest F1 racer, met with a small group of 599XX owners, who were also on hand to slip behind the wheel for the very first time. As was the case with the FXX, Ferrari is treating this very small group as client test drivers. They'll be able to play with their cars over the next year on various race tracks as Ferrari engineers closely monitor the performance data to possibly improve and refine future production vehicles.
Dates for future 599XX events have yet to be established, but Ferrari promises owners they'll have a chance to pilot the car on tracks in North America, Asia, and Europe, and take part in the company's "Finali Mondiali" event at the end of the F1 season.
